Last Update 6/6/25: Original SFC Resolution (elimination of) by Dr. Saxe and the Quarterly Governance Quorum by Dr. Bloom were pulled, new SFC resolution (in favor of) and new practice signage by Dr. Bloom Introduced.
To unite dentists at every career stage in advocating for a more focused and forward-thinking organized dentistry that prioritizes and addresses the practical needs of dentists. We envision a future where dentists practice with autonomy and integrity, supported by impactful professional organizations, and a legal system that prioritizes the optimal health of patients.
At Dentistry in General Advocacy Coalition, we believe that reform begins with courage. To be part of this coalition, you must not only care deeply about the future of our profession but also be willing to speak up and stand tall for what is right.
That’s why our logo is a giraffe. We proudly stick our necks out.
The DIGAC consists of three dedicated individuals listed below committed to protecting the integrity of dentistry and ensuring the voice of practicing dentists is heard.
But we also have advisors. We are guided by a Council of 25 respected advisors, current and former leaders in organized dentistry and the broader dental community, who provide their experience, insight, and mentorship. We are deeply grateful for their guidance and support.
We also work with a number of confidential sources and whistleblowers from across the country. These anonymous advisors are the true heroes of this movement. Their willingness to come forward and share critical information has been essential to our efforts to bring transparency, accountability, and positive change to our professional organizations.
If you believe in the mission of the Dentistry in General Advocacy Coalition and are ready to stand with us PUBLICLY, we invite you to reach out. We welcome your passion, your voice, and your commitment to positive change in our profession.
Contact us and help shape the future of the American Dental Association and organized dentistry.
We value integrity, honesty, and transparency, not just as words, but as guiding principles in everything we do. We believe organized dentistry must be accountable to its members and driven by truth, not politics, desire to move up the leadership ladder, or special interests. We also believe in the power of speaking up and speaking out, especially when it's uncomfortable.
If you're someone who believes that real change comes from courageous conversation and principled action, we welcome you to stand with us. We are especially looking to uplift and stand alongside our women colleagues, minority dentists, and those who have been underrepresented in organized dentistry. If you’re ready to stand with us, contact us.
